Players Health has partnered with TeachAids to deliver their state-of-the-art video training for athletes to learn about concussion.

See what it's like to experience a concussion during a game and learn the latest information about the prevention, identification, and treatment of concussions. Featuring former Stanford football players, running back Bryce Love, wide receiver JJ Arcega-Whiteside, wide receiver Trent Irwin and defensive back Elijah Holden, drafted by the NFL’s Washington Commodores, Philadelphia Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals and the Denver Broncos respectively.

Using state-of-the-art technology from Stanford University’s Neurosurgical Simulation and Virtual Reality Center, world mountain biking champion, Kate Courtney, takes the viewer on a journey through the human brain. Using dramatic race footage coupled with her own personal concussion experience, this fly-through emphasizes the complexity and fragility of the human brain.

This course will help you understand of the latest science around concussions, medically referred to as mild traumatic brain injuries, to shift the conversation away from fear and silence toward one of knowledge and empowerment.
